Music has the power to change lives. The initiative 'Drums 4 Slums' was initially started to raise awareness for the ongoing refugee crisis of the Rohingya minority, fleeing from Myanmar into Bangladesh. By playing in front of a crowd, we raised money in aid for those in need in association with the NGO Partners Relief & Development.

Additionally, we volunteered to teach unprivileged kids how to play drums using trash from the surrounding slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in Nov' 2017. During a four day workshop, the kids collaborated to make a final musical piece and play in front of others. It not only taught them a new skill, but also how to work together and empower them to be creative and confident. Playing drums is a universal language.
