The moment you see a smile on a person's face, you know that you are doing something right! This was no different for us. Bringing joy and making a difference to those around us, is what keeps us going from one spot of the world to the next.

Through the unusual way of collecting trash from streets and assembling them to street drum in front of crowds, we inspire others to follow our footsteps, empower them to step forward and bring people together. Our passion and love for drums has made us decide to not only jam on the kit in the garage but to have an impact on others and to make the streets our own stage.

Who Stole My Drumkit (WSMD) is a street drumming band that was founded by Philippe Schuler and Carl Patrick Zammit in Hong Kong in 2011, while attending the University of Hong Kong. Something that started as an idea of playing on waste in front of people on a busy street in Mong Kok, turned out to become reality and popular amongst the locals with many participating, getting involved and being interested.

INFO

No studio or instrument is needed to make music. It is easy to make your own by looking at what is around you.

Rhythm is embedded within us all. Anyone can do it, and all that is required is out of the box thinking and a spark of creativity.

Whether it is to make a difference for yourself, to raise awareness, or help others in need, the passion for drums and music can make a difference to all of us!

Let's bring the beat to street!

Join the jam movement to make the streets around the world more lively! Trash and sticks is all you need!
